Butyrate is a short chain Fatty Acid that is a potent Detoxifier of Ammonia and Neurotoxins. 
Butyrate also encourages the formation of friendly bacteria in the Gut.
Butyrate scrubs & cleans the Liver, the Gall Bladder and the biliary tree.
