Flax O Mega (Organic Flax Seed - Omega 3)

A unique customized press combines tradition with high technology; the seeds are pressed (only once), yielding a few precious litres of oil per hour.
A special atmosphere control system ensures the pressing environment is oxygen and light-free because either of these will damage the fragile EFA's (Essential Fatty Acids).

The oil is pressed at 'body temperature', and no heat or chemical solvents are ever applied.
In contrast, some other 'cold-pressed' oils are rapidly processed on huge presses at high temperatures of up to 194 degrees Fahrenheit! Enzymes are destroyed at 108 degrees Fahrenheit, and heat changes the composition of oil, making it detrimental to health.
